Custom-designed 52mm A-pillar gauge pods for the Vauxhall Astra H Mk5 (2004–2010). These pods provide a clean, factory-style solution for mounting aftermarket gauges while maintaining a precise fit to the original A-pillar trim.
 
Each pod is designed from a 3D scan of the original pillar, ensuring an accurate fit unlike many universal gauge holders.

Installation
The gauge pod mounts directly onto your original A-pillar trim.
Two mounting methods are available:
  • Screwed into the pillar using the pre-formed mounting holes (self-tapping screws, wood screws, or nut and bolt fixings can be used)
  • Bonded into place using adhesive
  • A combination of both methods is recommended for maximum strength.
 
Basic Fitting Procedure
  • Remove the factory A-pillar trim.
  • Position the pod holder onto the pillar and slide it downward until a snug fit is achieved.
  • Once correctly positioned, there should be no visible gaps between the pod holder and pillar.
  • Mark the mounting holes and gauge openings.
  • Drill mounting holes and cut access holes for wiring and vacuum lines.
  • Secure the pod holder using screws and/or adhesive.
  • Route cables and refit the pillar trim, ensuring the rubber seal overlaps both the pillar and pod holder.
 
Gauge Installation
The pod openings are intentionally designed with slight tolerance to accommodate variations between different gauge manufacturers.
Gauges can be secured by:
  • Using small wedges (such as thick cardboard) to hold the gauge firmly in place
  • Applying adhesive if a permanent installation is preferred
Using removable wedges is recommended if gauges may need to be removed in the future.
